Does your club have an outstanding project that you're currently developing?  Could it have even greater impact with more partners? You have come to the right place.

As your club develops their projects and applications for grants with budgets and signatures, share your ideas here and see if other clubs may be interested in joining you with small, medium-sized or large amounts to give your project greater impact.

You can use District Managed Grants, also known as DMGs, to fund a variety of district and club projects and activities, including:

  • Humanitarian projects, including service travel and disaster recovery efforts

  • Scholarships for any level, length of time, location, or area of study

  • Youth programs, including Rotary Youth Exchange, Rotary Youth Leadership Awards (RYLA), Rotaract, and Interact

  • Vocational training teams, which are groups of professionals who travel abroad either to teach local professionals about their field or to learn more about it themselves

If your club is seeking district grant funding, you can apply directly to your district. Individual districts administer their own district grant programs. Please contact John Merkel, District Managed Grants Chair, with questions about training sessions and application information.

 Global Grants (GG) include

  • Humanitarian projects
  • Scholarships for graduate-level academic studies

  • Vocational training teams are groups of professionals who travel abroad either to teach local professionals in their field or to learn more about it themselves. Global grants have a minimum budget of $30,000 and a maximum World Fund award of $400,000.  Please contact Ron Webb, District 7980's Global Grants Chair, for more information.
