Get to Know Our District Leadership
Great leadership begins with service.
Rotary District 7980 brings together approximately 1,800 Rotarians from 55 clubs across Southern Connecticut. Our District stretches from Greenwich on the New York border to Stonington on the Rhode Island border, following the Long Island Sound shoreline and extending inland to communities such as Danbury, Waterbury, Woodbury, Southbury, and Middlebury. From busy cities to charming coastal towns and rural communities, our members share a common passion for friendship, service, and making a difference.
Our clubs are at the heart of everything we do. Whether addressing food insecurity, supporting education and literacy, developing young leaders, or responding to community needs, our Rotarians turn good ideas into meaningful action, both locally and around the world.
Our District leaders are here to help our clubs succeed. From our current and future District Governors to our Past District Governors and committee leaders, these dedicated Rotarians provide guidance, resources, encouragement, and opportunities to work together.
While the people serving in leadership roles may change each year, their commitment to Service Above Self remains constant.
