Rotarians, Rotaractors, and Friends of Rotary enjoyed a spectacular Fall day on the Long Island Sound.
The learning sessions offered conversations about best practices for officers, the Foundation, The Rotary Action Plan, the safe policy use of AI, Public Image designs, Emotional Intelligence, fear and love, accompanied by a lightning round with wide-ranging subjects such as Polio Plus, Peace, International Service, RYLA, Youth Services, Foundation, etc., with fellow Rotarians and friends.
The ship's “Galley” hosted breakfast, lunch, and bottomless cups of coffee and tea. After the announcement “All Ashore That's Going Ashore,” those with other obligations disembarked before the ship got underway. Once we cast off, the narrator on the top deck described historical, architectural, geographic, and social details of the coastal waterways, uncovering little-known facts for our group, for a delightful 2-hour cruise. Here is a photo montage from the beautiful day in port and at sea!
